2014 seed summary:
1578* Holub 2014 (615 Cantrell x self) - World record green squash Seeds are ~1/2 AG & ~1/2 Squash with a fixed green color gene giving it a genetic weight advantage in the squash category. Should throw all green baby females. / 1478.5 Holub 2014 (282 Scherber x 615 Cantrell[1578*]) -won't throw any greenies until another generation of selfing. Seeds are ~3/4 AG & ~1/4 Squash. / 1434.5 Holub 2014 (717 Holub x 615 Cantrell[1578*]) - 1434.5 fruit started out a green baby female, but turned greenish-orangish-brown so did not meet the squash color criteria. Should throw all green baby females, but watch out for off-colors as fruit matures. Seeds are ~3/8 AG & ~5/8 squash / 1195.5* Holub 2014 (1175* Holub x self/open) - Ripened to a nice green squash. Longest fattest stem I've ever seen. Pollination was "open" because female wasn't closed overnight, closed her after pollination with an open male first thing in the morning. seeds are 100% squash - descendent of the 1486.6* Jarvis WR / 319 est Holub 2014 (282 Scherber[1478.5 clone] x 717 Holub[1434.5]) - won't throw any greenies until another generation of selfing (also see 1434.5 notes for pollinator color issues). Seeds are ~5/8 AG & ~3/8 Squash
